Process

From Intake to Final Product

Scroll to follow each step of our plastics recycling workflow.

The materials we can process

  • Post-industrial plastics (HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, PET, ABS, PC, Nylon, and many others)
  • Select post-consumer rigid plastics
  • Polymer-family mixed streams after pre-sort
  • Film and regrind suitable for wash/line intake
Step 1

Intake

Receive and register plastics from suppliers; verify material type, source, and condition.

Step 2

Storage

Stage and store by polymer/resin family with tracked batches for traceability.

Step 3

Prepared for Grind

Pre-sorting, decontamination, and size reduction prep for consistent feedstock.

Step 4

Processing

Large-batch processing: through shredding, grinding, sink-float washing, and advanced mechanical-separation systems for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other contaminants, followed by post-process homogenization. Offering off-take and closed-loop programs all with continuous in-line QC.

Unique Capabilities

  • Exceptionally large scale recycling recovery rates of up to 30,000 lbs. per hour for campaign or continuous processing.
  • Oversized material processing in our massive Weima WLK20 Super Jumbo Shredder.
  • Processing of hard to recover materials such as plastics with embedded metals, continuous ferrous and non-ferrous metal separation.
  • Adjustable bulk density separation.
  • Tailor-made mechanical solutions for ongoing recycling challenges.
Step 5

Final Product

High-quality regrinds/pellets, tested in lab and delivered or reintroduced in closed-loop.
